An eventful visit from Louisville, KY

By Erwin Lepiarczyk
Erwin Lepiarczyk enjoyed his weekend visit from members of his family who live in the proximity of Louisville.

They include his father, Gerhard Lepiarczyk; his mother, Katherine Lepiarczyk; his brother, David Lepiarczyk; and his niece, Bailey Stone. The Gerhard Lepiarczyk family were pleased to visit one of their favorite cousins, Nevis Grider, in Russell County.

Gerhard celebrated his birthday, Saturday, January 29, at The Porch restaurant in Russell Springs. Many of Erwin's friends were at The Porch. Sir Erwin performed some of his father's favorite songs at The Porch, including "Nessun Dorma" from "Turandot" and "Some Enchanted Evening" from "South Pacific".

The Karaoke host, Keith, performed one of the favorite gospel hymns of Sir Erwin's mother, Lady Katherine; "Take My Hand Precious Lord". Sir Erwin's mother and family members were all inspired by this performance. Sir Erwin led the Birthday song in commemoration of his father's birthday. The capacity filled restaurant of patrons all were very gracious in honoring the Amazing Gerhard on his most recent birthday.

Following their celebration of Gerhard's birthday, members of the Gerhard Lepiarczyk family visited their honorary family member, the esteemed Kazimierz Rusek, in the hospital. Mr. Rusek is seriously ill. The Lepiarczyk family all request prayers for the health and well being of Mr. Rusek, who has been a proud resident of Adair County for 25 years. May God especially bless everyone who remembers Mr. Rusek and members of the Lepiarczyk family in prayer.

Before journeying back to Louisville, Lady Katherine was presented with a beautiful new pet by William McCarol and his lovely niece, Brittany Jones. When Lady Katherine first met her new gorgeous pet, Missy; she said, "come to your new Mama"!
