Obituary: Mr. Donnie Glenn Coomes, 73, Green Co., KY

Mr. Donnie Glenn Coomes age 73, passed away at his home in Green County, on Saturday, January 29, 2011.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 5pmCT, at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY. Friends of Mr. Donnie Glenn Coomes may call at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home after 4pmCT, on Tuesday, February 1, 2011.


Mr. Donnie Glenn Coomes (1937-2011)

Mr. Donnie Glenn Coomes was born October 9, 1937, in Taylor Co., KY. He was the son of the late James Tucker Coomes. He died Saturday, January 29, 2011, at his home in Green Co., KY, at the age of 73 years, 3 months, and 20 days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of theCampbellsville Christian Church.

Besides his parents, he is preceded indeath by one brother: Dallas Coomes.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Cook Coomes, and the following:
  • one son Ronald Glenn Coomes (Sheila) of Franklin, KY

  • One daughter: Millinda Durham (Ronnie) of Campbellsville, KY

  • And one brother: Walter Coomes of Tampa, FL
  • Four grandchildren and Four great grandchilden
Donations can be made in memory of Mr. Coomes to the "Because We Believe" Campbellsville Christian Church Building Fund.

The Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W. Court ST, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.
