Deadline for filing for statewide offices over Senate President David Williams, Burkesville, KY, has two Republican primary opponents in race for Governor. Governor Beshear has no Democratic opposition. Adair native Hilda Legg has single Republican opponent in race for Secretary of State. Democrat for Governor Governor Steve Beshear is the only Democrat to file for that office.
