No School in Adair County School District Wed., Jan. 26, 2011 Snow Closings David Jones, Director of Student Transportation, called at 4:24amCT, January 26, 2011, to announce "There will be No School in the Adair County School District today." Jones said that the snow didn't start until about 2:15amCT, "But now," he said, "it's pouring down." Larry Smith called CM at 5:09amCT with these cancellations: Casey, Cumberland, Green, Metcalfe, Russell, Campbellsville Independent and Taylor County, plus Marion County. "No School in any of these counties." Smith called, within sight of his destination as the Morning News Anchor at 92.7 FM, WHVE, The WAVE radio, and Program Director for Shoreline Communications. "It has taken me over an hour to get to Yarberry's Store from Campbellsville," he said. "It's the slickest I've seen it this year. It is rougher than a cob, my friend." Listeners should be hearing the Golden Voice of Radio right about now, 5:13amCT. Snow Schedule Changes: Campbellsville University: Snow Plan. Students on 2 hour delay; Offices open at regular times.-Linda Waggener, Campbellsville University. The Adair County Public Library will be closed until later this morning. If the weather improves the library will open. Be advised that parking lot will be slick. Please call the library at (270) 384-2472 before leaving your home to make sure we are open.
