Crash between Edmonton, Breeding takes life By TFC William Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY Metcalfe County - Trooper Daniel Stephens is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Monday, January 24, 2011, at approximately 11:41pmCT. in Metcalfe Co., KY. Duane C. Thompson, age 48 of Edmonton, KY, was operating a 2002 Ford two door, traveling north on Breeding Road approximately seven miles north of Edmonton, KY. Thompson lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, struck a tree line, overturned multiple times before coming to rest off the roadway. A passenger in the vehicle Sara Coates, age 25 of Edmonton, KY, was not belted and was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene by Metcalfe County Coroner Larry Wilson.
