Adair Deputy Coroners attend week long Coroners Basic Training

Adair County Deputy Coroners David Taylor, Tony Bragg and Mike Keltner attended a Five day training last week at the Central Laboratory in Frankfort, KY. This course covered all aspects of Coroners duties and gave the participants knowledge to investigate deaths under circumstances specified by statute (KRS 72).

While in Frankfort, Deputy Coroner Mike Keltner became a member of the Kentucky Coroners and Medical Examiners Incident Response Team which responds to mass fatality incidents. The Adair County Coroner, Todd Akin, is committed to having the Coroners Office ready to serve the residents of the county and last weeks training has accomplished this goal. -Mike Keltner
