Alfred Charles Dicken, age 67, of Burkesville, KY, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at his residence in Burkesville, KY.

Funeral services for Alfred Charles Dicken will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 1pmCT, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N. Main ST, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Jim Simpson officiating. Burial will be in the Vincent Cemetery. Visitation for Alfred Charles Dicken will be on Monday, January 24, 2011, after 4pmCT, at Norris-New Funeral Home until time of service on Tuesday.



Survivors include the following:
  • His children: Charles Dicken, Laura (and Wayne) Scott, Amanda Stailey, his step-daughters, Kathy (and Kalvin) Thrasher, Amy (and Tommy) Davidson, his step-son, John Neal, all of Burkesville, KY

  • His brothers and sisters: Eulene Lee of Toledo, Ohio, Russell and Dorothy "Dot" Dicken of Toledo, OH; Douglas (and Martha) Dicken of Glasgow, KY; Wanda (and Lonnie) Groce of Burkesville, KY; and Terry (and Lola) Dicken of Glasgow, KY

  • Grandchildren: Amber Cash, Jessie Stailey, Josh Scott, Alyson Dicken, Madeline Stailey, Summer Stailey, Alex Dicken, andAnna Scott

  • Step-grandchildren: Olivia Stalcup and Jon Allen Thrasher

  • Several nieces, nephews and cousins
