Rosalie Ethel Wiley Mitchell, 87, of the Bakerton Community of Cumberland Co., KY, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2010 at the Clinton County Hospital in Albany, KY.

Graveside services will be held on Friday January 21, 2011 at 2:30pmET/1:30pmCT, at the Mill Springs National Cemetery, 9044 W. Highway 80 (MAP), Nancy, KY., located in Pulaski County, KY. with Bro. Gary Cash officiating.


Rosalie Wiley Mitchell, Cumberland Co., KY (1923-2011)

She was born in Kansas on Sunday, May 20, 1923, the daughter of Andrew Lloyd and Leah Louise Boughman Wiley, and died Friday, January 14, 2010, in Albany, Clinton Co., KY, at the age of 87 years, 7 months, and 25 days.

She was a teacher and an employee of the News-Republican newspaper in New Castle, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lonnie Hayden Mitchell.Survivors include the following:
  • Her daughter and son-in-law: Lonna and Terry Moore of Riverview, FL

  • Her brothers and sisters: Norman Dirk Wiley of Kansas, Dale Wiley of California, Dennis Wiley of California: Edward Wiley of Virginia and Andrew Wiley of California, Lindy McIntyre of Nebraska, Carol Green of California and Gena Tiseo of Michigan

  • Her grandchild: Stacie Dailey

  • Her step-grandchildren: Tom Moore and Robert Moore
  • Her great-grandchild: Andie Dailey.
