Obituary: Junior Crawhorn, 61, Adair Co., KY

He was a member of a large, respected East Adair Co., KY family

Junior Crawhorn, age 61, of Christine RD, Columbia, KY passed away Friday January 14, 2011 at 8:30amCT at the Medical Center of Bowling Green in Bowling Green, KY, after an illness.

Funeral services will be at 1pmCT, Monday, January 17, 2011, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Darrell Landis the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty RD, Columbia, KY. The family request visiting after 11:30amCT, Sunday, January 16, 2011, at the funeral home.



Junior Crawhorn, Adair Co., KY (1949-2011)

He was born Wednesday, December 14, 1949. He was the son of the late Finis and Lilyvene Franklin Crawhorn of Adair Co., KY. He died Friday, January 14, 2011, in Bowling Green, Warren Co., KY, at the age of 61 years, one month.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Corbin Crawhorn of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • A son: Michael Crawhorn

  • One daughter: Angela Crawhorn

  • One step daughter: Tina Wray of Columbia, KY

  • One step son: Kevin Wray of Columbia, KY

  • Two brothers: Joe Crawhorn of Berwyn, Illinois and Charlie Crawhorn of Columbia, KY

  • Four sisters: Carrie Rowe of Chicago, IL, Ruby Sneed of Russell Springs, KY; Lou Burton of Campbellsville, KY; and LouEllen Streeval of Columbia, KY

  • Ten grandchildren and a special grandchild, Destiny Turner
He was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Crawhorn and six sisters, Lillie Loy, Rosia Kennedy, Dianne Harmon, Sherelene Crawhorn, Carolyn Dee Crawhorn and Darlene Crawhorn.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
