Life at Bobby Lynn Graves Farm: A little drama in 3 pictures Introduction. Click on headline for album Everyday occurences at the idyllic Bobby Lynn Graves farm,, a magical, utopian kingdom across Petty's Fork on KY 61 North, provides a never-ending theatre, captured by photographer Jennifer Crawhorn in the accompanying three-act photo play.Thousands of small dramas are played out every day on the farm. Some have quick lessons. A majestic ass, Valentino, proves a dystopian concept from "Animal Farm" that all animals are created equal, but some are more equal than others. Valentino is the self-appointed ruler of his realm. Totally self reliant and autocratic, he begs no help from PETA or other animal rights group. He takes matters into his own hands, thank you! He renegotiates each day, and gets results in short order. And that includes a lesson for those of us who are musically challenged: We'd probably get faster service if we'd threaten to sing.Valentino, despite his efforts in the vocal arts, has received no accolades for his concerts. Rather, his claim to fame is testerone-based. He, like his namesake, it quite the lover. -Ed Waggener This story was posted on 2011-01-14 11:10:25
