Campbellsville University employs Matt Hodge Click on headline for story, link to video + photo(s) By Phil Carlisle News from Campbellsville University Campbellsville, KY - Matt Hodge, a native of Taylorsville, KY, has been hired as an instructor of music and fine arts recruiter at Campbellsville University, according to an announcement from Dr. Michael V. Carter, president of Campbellsville University. Hodge earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory and Composition from CU in 2008 and received his Master of Arts in Music in 2010. Hodge is a 2004 graduate of Bullitt East High School. During his time at CU, Hodge composed, scripted and directed two full-length musicals, "Just a Breeze to a Hurricane" and "Prodigal." In 2010, he received the "Distinguished Citizen" award from the Mayor of Louisville and was honored in Frankfort by the Kentucky Senate and House of Representatives. Hodge was also a featured guest speaker for the Governor's Scholar Program in the summer of 2010, and was also featured on Radio Disney. He is a member of the American Society of Composers and Publishers, the National Association of Composers USA, and Pi Kappa Lambda, a national music honors society.
