Columbia Police, KY Fire Marshals investigating mobile home fire Foul play suspected. One taken into custody. Home engulfed by fire when CFD arrives on scene By Donald Hare, Public Affairs Officer Columbia Fire Department, 201 Merchant ST, Columbia, KY The Columbia Fire Department responded to a residential mobile home fire on Thursday afternoon, January 13, 2011, at around 3:50pmCT, to 39 Dusk Lane off of KY 55 North. Upon arrival discovered a mobile home owned by Eloise Jefferies to be engulfed in fire. There were 17 firemen on the scene for around one hour. Foul play was suspected and one person was placed in custody. The fire is being investigated by Columbia City Police and KY State Fire Marshals Office. This story was posted on 2011-01-14 06:35:58
