Casey County fatality occurs on US 127 in Casey Co., KY Joshua Lawhorn, 20, Parksville pronounced dead at scene after vehicle crosses center line and collides with vehicle driven by Gregory Greer, Knifley, who was not treated. By TFC William Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY Casey Co., KY - - Tpr. Mike Woodrum of KSP Post 15, Columbia, KY is investigating a collision that occurred earlier today, Thursday, January 13, 2011, at approximately 8:30 AM CST 5 miles north of Liberty, KY on US 0127. The collision occurred when a Southbound 2003 Ford 4-door, operated by 20-year-old Joshua R. Lawhorn of Parksville KY, crossed the centerline and was struck in the passenger side. The Ford collided with a Northbound 2004 Dodge Ram operated by 32-year-old Gregory Greer of Knifley, KY. Lawhorn was not wearing a seatbelt and was partially ejected from his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Greer was belted and not treated. The cause of the collision is yet to be determined. Tpr. Woodrum was assisted at the scene by Casey County EMS, Rescue and Sheriff's Office.
