Obituary: H.O. Kelsey, 75, Russell Co., KY

He was a member of a respected Russell Co., KY, family, a farmer, and a veteran of the service in the United States Navy

M.O. Kelsey, Josh Kelsey RD, Russell Springs, KY, died Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at Personal Care Home, Casey Co., KY.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at 12pm noon CT, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Elvis Tucker the officiating clergy. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery, 9044 KY 80 (MAP), Nancy, KY. Friends may call at the funeral home after 9:30amCT, Tuesday, January 18, 2011.

M.O. Kelsey, Russell Co., KY (1935-2010)

M.O. Kelsey was born Sunday, February 3, 1935 in Russell Co., KY. He was the son of the late Elsie Ila Holder Kelsey and Murlis Ormit Kelsey, Sr. He died Wednesday, January 12, 2011, in Casey Co., KY, at the age of 75 years, 11 months, and 9 days.

He was a farmer and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by the following:
  • One son: O.G. Kelsey, Russell Springs, KY

  • One daughter: Tracy Ruble, Vero Beach, FL

  • Two brothers: Joe (Angela) Gadberry, Russell Springs, KY; and Phillip (Debbie) Gadberry, Franklin, IN

  • One grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, O.G. Kelsey, Gary Gadberry, and his step father, Millard Gadberry.

Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
