UPDATE: No School in Adair Co. District Jan. 11, 2011, after all NO SCHOOL IN ADAIR COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT TODAY: David Jones, Director of Transportation for the Adair County School District, called at 6:04amCT, Tuesday, January 11, 2011, to announce: "We took another look at the situation in the last hour," he said. "there's been rain, sleet, and patches of black ice. It is just too dangerous to run the busses today." Earlier, Mr. Jones had called at 5:06amCT, Tuesday, January 11, 2011, to say "Adair County School busses will run on a one hour delay this morning." But the new announcement, "No school today," supersedes that. Classes at Adair Co. Youth Development Center on Regular Schedule Teachers and faculty at AYDC are reminded that classes at Adair Youth Development Center, 401 Appleby DR.,Columbia, KY (MAP) Adair Youth Development Center Will Start on Time.
