Obituary: Hattie Henson Hudson, 88, Casey Co., KY

Hattie Henson Hudson, 88 died Tuesday, January 4 , 2011 at the Ephraim McDowell Medical Center in Danville, KY.

Funeral service will be at 10amET/9amCT, Friday, January 7, 2011, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, by Bro. Paul Patton. Burial is in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, January 6, 2011 6pm-9pmET/5pm-8pmCT at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.



Hattie Henson Hudson, Casey Co., KY (1922-2010)

Born in Casey County on Wednesday, March 29, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Franklin and Sarah Isabell Bell Henson. She died Tuesday, January 4, 2011, in Danville, Boyle Co., KY, at the age of 88 years, 9 months, and 6 days.She was the widow of Charles L. Henson and was retired from Proctor and Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is also preceded in death by four sisters, Adell Smith, Jessie Rodgers, Violet Vaughn and Lela Patten and two brothers, Edward Henson and Preston Henson, Sr.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three step children: John Hudson, Charles Hudson, Jr. and Linda Bush all of Indiana

  • Five nieces: Jewell Wilkerson, Joberta Reed, Margie Price, Marlene Tucker and Judy Elam

  • One nephew: Sonny Henson
McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, Liberty, KY, In charge of arrangements.
