Jones, of Columbia participated in St. Petersburg College 114th Commencement exercises held at the First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks, Largo, FL, on Saturday, December 18, 2010, Jones earned her Associate in Science degree in the field of Veterinary Technology. She graduated with academic honors from the Phi Theta Kappa International Honors Society of the Two-Year Colleges. St. Petersburg College Veterinary Technology Program is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association and has one of the few accredited online programs in the United States. The college is ranked No. 12 in the nation for health professionals and related clinical services. The Jones family traveled to St. Petersburg, Florida to attend the graduation ceremonies. Jones will continue her career at Green River Veterinary Services in Campbellsville, KY as a licensed veterinary technician, working under the direct supervision of Dr. Clint A.
