Ann Wheat, 86, Acree RD, Russell Springs, KY, died Saturday, January 1, 2011, at the Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs, KY.

The funeral service will be at 1pmCT, Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Adron Wheat the officiating clergy and special music by Donna Willis. Burial will be in Blair Cemetery

Ann Wheat, Russell Co., KY, (1924-2010)

She was born in Russell County, KY, Saturday, October 10, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Marie Stephens West and Edd West. She died Saturday, January 1, 2011, in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 86 years, 2 months, and 14 days.She was a homemaker and a member of the Providence Baptist Church.She is survived by the following:
  • One son: Randy (Colleen) Wheat, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two daughters: Brenda (Frankie) Antle, and Janet Wheat, both of Russell Springs, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Timmy (Rose) Antle; Pam (Randy) York; Laura (Marvin) Nissley, and Dustin Brockman

  • Four great grandchilden: Tyler Antle, Brandon Antle, Brantley Antle, and Jesse York

  • Four brothers: Getha West, Amon West, and William West, all of Russell Springs, KY; and Phillip West, Franklin, IN

  • Two Sisters: Lucille Comer and Shelia Walters, both of Russell Springs, KY
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvil Wheat, two brothers, Londo West and Arlo West, and five sisters, Leona Smith, Zeona Shepherd, Lola Rexroat, Lora Harvey, and Dorothy Bernard.

Memorial are suggested to Lake Cumberland Children's Advocacy, 497 S. Main ST, Jamestown, KY.Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
