Obituary: Willard Rowe Odle, 74, Metcalfe Co., KY

Mr. Odle was a mobile home saleman. He was a Korean Army Veteran and member of the following; Edmonton Masonic Lodge No. 931 were he was past master for two terms. Member of the York Rite, Scottish Rite, American Legion 154 and the Shrine

Willard Rowe Odle age 74 of Edmonton died Thursday December 30, 2010 at Metcalfe Health Care in Edmonton, KY.

Masonic services will be held 7pmCT Saturday, January 1, 2011, at Butler Funeral Home Chapel, 201 East ST, Edmonton, KY. Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Sunday, January 1, 2011, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1pm-8pmCT, Saturday, January 1, and after 9amCT, Sunday, January 2, 2011, at the funeral home.



He was the son of the late Elijah Rowe Odle and Ettalyn Jessie Odle.

Mr. Odle was a mobile home saleman. He was a Korean Army Veteran and member of the following; Edmonton Masonic Lodge #931 where he was past master for two terms. Member of the York Rite, Scottish Rite, American Legion 154 and Shrine.

Willard is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Pam (Dale) Gibson of Edmonton, KY; and Beth Odle and special friend Henry Shuffett of Beaumont, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Amanda Gibson of Edmonton, KY; and Matthew (Karen) Gibson of Tompkinsville, KY

  • One brother: Floyd Dean Odle of Tennessee

  • And one sister Suetta Hicks of Tennessee
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Odle and one sister.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Cancer Society or the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital Auxiliary.

Butler Funeral Home, 201 East ST, Edmonton, KY, in charge of arrangements.
