Obituary: Cosby Feese, 68, Adair Co., KY

Mr. Feese was retired from Kentucky Cooperage in Lebanon, KY and was of the Baptist faith

Cosby Feese, 68 years, of Knifley RD, Columbia, KY passedaway Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 1:31pmCT at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY, after several months illness.

The funeral service will be Friday, December 31, 2010 at 1pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. David Coffey and Bro. Harold Giles the officiating clergy. Interment in the Haven Hill Cemetery 1276 Liberty RD, Columbia, KY.The family requests visiting after 4pmCT, on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the funeral home.



Pallbearers: Charlie Crawhorn, Adam Feese, Junior Feese, Troy Litteral, Tommy Stearns, and Mikey Usery

Cosby Feese, Adair Co., KY, (1942-2010)

He was born Wednesday, June 1, 1942 in Adair Co., KY, the son of the late Willie Frank and Dorothy Hadley Feese. He died Tuesday, December 28, 2010, in Bowling Green, Warren Co., KY, at the age of 68 years, 4 months, and 29 days.He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Davis Feese on December 28, 2003, and by several brother and sisters.

Mr. Feese is survived by the following:
  • Three sons: Greg Feese and wife Tammy, Gary Feese and wife Miki, and Bradley Feese, all of Columbia, KY

  • Two daughters: Louann Bearden, and Ashley Stearns and husband Tommy, all of Columbia, KY

  • Three brothers: Billy Joe Feese of Lebanon, KY; Benny Feese of Mt. Washington, KY; and Frankie Feese of Knifley, KY

  • Four sisters: Treva Curtsinger of Jamestown, KY; Ruby Barker and Lucille Frost of Edinburg, IN; and Kathy Tucker of Columbia, KY

  • Nine grandchildren: Adam and Tiana Feese, Junior Feese, Marissa Feese, Monessa Feese, Brooklyn and Troy Litteral, Michael Usery and Natalie Stearns

  • Two great grandchildren: Ayden Feese and Addison Woodrum

  • Two caregivers: Erin Sullivan and Faith Walker

  • And several nieces, nephews and a host of friends
Mr. Feese was retired from the Kentucky Cooperage Shop in Lebanon, KY and was of the Baptist faith.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, in charge of arrangements.
