Obituary: Leonard Bardin, Jr. 67 Adair Co., KY

He was a member of a highly regarded South Adair Co., KY, family. He was a member of Emory Chapel United Methodist Church. He was retired from Fisher Body in Chicago, IL and had served in the U. S. Navy.

Leonard Bardin, Jr. age 67, years of Columbia, KY passed away Monday, December 27, 2010 at his home.

The funeral service will be Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQuearyFuneral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Lonny Karnes the officiating clergy. Interment in the Bardin Cemetery at Chance, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Wednesday, December 29, 2010.

Leonard Bardin, Jr., Adair Co., KY (1943-2010)

He was the son of the late Leonard Kendall Bardin, Sr. and Victoria Janes Bardin. He was born Monday, January 4, 1943 in Adair Co., KY, and died Monday, December 27, 2010, in Columbia, Adair Co., KY, at the age of 67 years, 11 months, and 23 days.He is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Eddie Bardin of Columbia and his fiancee' Stacy Whitam and Michael Bardin and wife Rachel of Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Wanda Taylor of Columbia, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Natalie Bardin, Brooklyn Bardin and Chloe Bardin

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother Harold Ray Bardin on August 1, 1986/He was a member of Emory Chapel United Methodist Church. He was retired from Fisher Body in Chicago, IL and had served in the U. S. Navy.
