Obituary: Mrs. Camillia Fay Blaydes, 75, Adair Co., KY

She was a member of a respected family with deep roots in Adair and Green Counties of Kentucky. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a homemaker. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and a former resident of Greensburg, KY

Mrs. Camillia Fay Blaydes, age 75, of Columbia, KY, formerly of Greensburg, KY, passed away on Christmas Day at her home in Adair County.

The funeral services for Mrs. Camillia Fay Blaydes will be conducted at 1pmCT, Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, with burial in the Rayburn Cemetery. Bro. Clifton Hale will officiate. Visitation will be after 12pm noon CT, Tuesday, until time of the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Camillia Fay Blaydes, Adair Co., KY (1935-2010)

Mrs. Camillia Fay Blaydes was the daughter of the late Verner Bush and Pauline Huffman Bush, was born on January 20, 1935 in Green Co., KY and departed this life on Saturday, December 25, 2010 at her home in Adair Co, KY. She was 75 years, 11 months and 5 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a homemaker. She was also a former employee of Fruit of the Loom.

She united in marriage to Stanley Pollard who preceded her in death. She later united in marriage to Tommy Blaydes who also preceded her in death.

She is survived by the following:
  • Three daughters and a son-in-law: Aneda Davis of Columbia, KY; Diane and Billy Price of Campbellsville, KY; and Angie Davis of Columbia, KY

  • Five grandchildren

  • Ten great-grandchildren
Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY in charge of arrangements.
