The snow limned branches are a cherry, not redbud tree

Comments re photo 38525. Christmas Snow: 2010 Redbud stars in winterJoyce M. Coomer writes:
I'm pretty sure that tree is a cherry tree - one of the kind that was so popular when the courthouse annex was built. The limbs were originally hanging downward but without proper pruning and training applied consistently, the limbs are reverting to their normal upright growth patterns. The redbud tree is the tree visible in the far right of the picture. -Joyce Coomer
: Of course you are right. Thanks. The cutline has been corrected. -EW
