Kookie Harris, a great DJ. And thoughts on Skip a Rope

Billy Joe Fudge writes:
I can't remember the DJ responsible, but during the late 60's I was awaken by the same song each and every morning, "Skip A Rope". A guy by the name of Henson Cargill sang the song and man did it stick in my mind. I sometimes think they played it 5 times each morning before 7amCT.

The lyrics can be found at this link: Mp3 Lyrics Organized/George Jones/Skip a RopeKookie, you were great and my Mom would never miss "Rise and Shine, It's Country Music Time", but if that was you who played this thing multiple times every morning, thanks a lot...
