Roy Scott, 63 years of Grissom ST, Columbia, KY passed awayTuesday December 21, 2010 at 11:35amCT at his home after several months illness.

The funeral service will be Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 10amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Shelby Coomer the officiating clergy. Interment in the Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY. The family requests visitation after 4pmCT on Wednesday, December 22, 2010.



Mr. Roy Scott, Adair Co., KY (1947-2010)

He was born Tuesday, September 14, 1947 in Glasgow, Barren Co., KY the son of the late Troy and Myrtie Shaw Scott. He died Tuesday, December 21, 2010, in Columbia, Adair Co., KY, at the age of 63 years, 3 months, and 7 days.

Roy is survived by his wife, Patricia Nell Keltner Scott, of Columbia, KY and the following:
  • One brother: Lloyd Scott of Greensburg, KY

  • Three sisters: Shelia England of Russell Springs, KY, Caroline Scott of Greensburg, KY, and Marilyn Huckaby of Burkesville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and by one special niece
Mr. Scott was a former truck driver and saw mill worker and of theMethodist faith.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY in charge of arrangements.
