Fellow soldier remembers Sgt. Nunn family at Christmas

He loved his children and expressed it every day, soldier who served with him Korea writes
Commentsre article 37105. Obituary: Sgt Charles Yates Nunn: 37 Glasgow KY

Virgia Wilson writes:
I was stationed with Sgt. Nunn in Korea from 2004-2006. He was a funny and great guy. He loved his children and expressed it to us everyday.

I guess I'm writing because he was a good friend and we kept in touch via email throughout the years and when I realized I hadn't heard from him in a while, I emailed him but didn't hear from him. Another Soldier that was with us in Korea sent me the link to his obituary.

I'm currently deployed to Iraq and would like to send some money or maybe clothes and gifts for Christmas to his children. I have the capability to order clothes online and sent them, if anyone has a via point that will make sure they get the clothes I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,

SSG Virgia Wilson
Thanks for sending this thoughtful, deeply moving tribute about this wonderful Metcalfe County, KY native. The information for the Charles Y. Nunn Memorial Trust Fund (for his children) is posted in CM classifieds at Charles Yates Nunn Memorial Trust Fund established SSG Virgia Wilson, our prayers are with you, as you serve this Christmas there in Iraq. -Ed Waggener
