Mr. Samuel Frank Ford, 79 passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the Golden Living Center/Green Hill Manor, Greensburg, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Samuel Frank Ford will be conducted 1pmCT, Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the Mt. Union Baptist Church, with the eulogy delivered by Rev. Mike Ash. Burial will follow in the Mt. Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends of Mr. Samuel Frank Ford may call at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY, after 5pmCT, Monday and after 7amCT Tuesday, December 14, 2010.



Pallbearers: Mike Reynolds, Bobby Kirtley, Travis Price, Russell Garnett Skaggs,Cameron Newby, and Robert Williams, Jr., Kendall Ford, and Joe Ratcliffe.

Flower Girls: Annetta Walltower, Cequinta Dunn, Vonnae Smith, Marilyn Rogers, Grantette Custard, and Mardena Compton.

Mr. Samuel Frank Ford, Green Co., KY (1931-2010)

Mr. Samuel Frank Ford was born February 13, 1931 in Green Co., KY. He was the son of the late Samuel and Nellie Jane Gaddie Ford. He passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 in Greensburg, Green Co., KY, having attained the age of 79 years, 9 months and 26 days.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt Union Baptist Church in Green Co., KY. He was a farmer.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Fronnie Dunn Ford, one son, Charles Dunn, two brothers, Richard and Tom Ford and one sister, Anna Ford.

He is survived by the following:
  • Three sons and one daughter-in-law: Sammy Dunn of Campbellsville, KY; Huezell and Erika Ford of Greensburg, KY; and Lyndell Dunn of Indianapolis, IN

  • Four daughters and two sons-in-law: Alice and Samuel Simmons of Avon, IN; Edith May Rogers of Indianapolis, IN; , Zella Ann and Alfred Royster of Illinois and Shirley McDonald of Florida

  • Three brothers, Dave Ford of Campbellsville, KY; Marshall (Mont) Ford of Greensburg, KY; and Leo Ford of Indianapolis, IN

  • Three sisters and one sister-in-law: Dorothy Ford of Campbellsville, KY; Helen Williams of Elizabethtown, KY; and Odessa Ford of Campbellsville, KY

  • Sixteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions for the funeral expenses. These can be made at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home.
