She was retired from Fruit of the Loom, Campbellsville, KY, where she worked as an examiner, in 1980 and was a homemaker Click on headline for full obituary with photo(s) Mrs. Gladys Susan Berry Pruitt, 92, of Greensburg, KY departed this life on Wednesday, December 08, 2010 at the Taylor Regional Hospital, Campbellsville, KY. The funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Berry Pruitt will be conducted at 1pmCT, Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Rev. Gilbert Larimore, Robert Adkins and James T. Jeffries will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 2pm to 9pmCT, Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Friday, December 10, 2010, until time of the funeral service. Pallbearers: Carl Berry, Kenny Pruitt, Bobby Pruitt, James T. Jeffreis, Ron Spray, and Tommy Ray Pruitt. Mrs. Gladys Susan Berry Pruitt, Green Co., KY (1918-2010) Mrs. Gladys Susan Berry Pruitt was the daughter of the late Luther Berry and Lonie Judd Berry. She was born on Monday, September 16, 1918 in Green Co., KY and who departed this life on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at the Taylor Regional Hospital, Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY. She was 92 years, 2 months and 22 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a charter member of the South Greensburg Baptist Church. She retired from Fruit of the Loom in 1980 where she worked as an examiner and was a homemaker. She united in marriage to Bruce Pruitt on September 28, 1935 and departed this life on April 4, 1965. She later united in marriage to Roy Estes on July 8, 1967 who also preceded her in death in June of 1968. Survivors include the following:
