Obituary: Myrtle Jessee, 89, Adair Co., KY native She a member of the Columbia Baptist Church. She was supervisor of the Adair County ASCS office for many years and is remembered as an outstanding administrator and public servant Myrtle Jessee, 89, formerly of Columbia, KY, died Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 4:30amCT, at Glasgow Health & Rehab Center, in Glasgow, KY. The funeral service will be Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 2pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Dr. Jerry Oakley officiating. Burial will be in Columbia Cemetery, 315 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY. Visitation after 10amCT, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Casket Bearers: Bobby Beard, Ed Hadley, Daniel Marcum, Dale Hurt, Darrell Phillips, and Lynn Franklin. Myrtle Jessee, 89, Adair Co., KY native (1921-2010) She was born Friday, September 2, 1921, in Adair Co., KY. She was the daughter of the late McKinley and Elmer Patton Jessee. She died December 5, 2010, in Glasgow, Barren Co., KY, at the age of 89 years, 3 months, and 3 days. She was a member of Columbia Baptist Church and was retired from the US Department of Agriculture after working in the local ASCS office for over 30 years, many of them as the Supervisor.
