The Adair County Middle School Beta club recently conducted a food drive for the local Food Pantry.

Over 1000 items were collected by the students at our school.

On Thursday, December 2, 2010, the Beta members delivered those items to Stephanie Long, the pantry director, and stocked the shelves.

According to Mrs. Long over 300 families will take advantage of this donation.

The National Jr. Beta Club requires members to achieve high academic standards, demonstrate leadership abilities and provide service to their communities.
