All proceeds will benefit the LWC swim program

News from Lindsey Wilson College, Columbia, KY

Columbia, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College swim team is holding a fundraiser that will have special appeal to area parents.

The Blue Raiders are holding "Kids Night Out" from 3-8pmCT on Saturday, December 11, at the Lindsey Wilson Doris and Bob Holloway Health & Wellness Center, 399 Williams DR, Columbia, KY. The event - which will be staffed by LWC staff members and student-athletes - is open to children ages 5 and up. The cost is $10 per child; all proceeds support the LWC swim program.

"We thought this would be a great way for children to deal with cabin fever while giving parents a chance to take care of some Christmas shopping," said Lindsey Wilson swim coach Alicia Kemnitz.

The five-hour affair will include basketball, volleyball and indoor soccer games; supervised swimming in the Holloway Health & Wellness Center natatorium; movies; and dinner.

For more information about the event, contact the LWC Holloway Health & Wellness Center at hwc@lindsey.edu or (270) 384-7380.
