Countdown: 5 days to Adair Jaycees 20th Radio Auction Need may be as great as ever A Countdown has been added this morning, Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, in the CM Special News, Ads feature for the Adair County Jaycees' 20th Radio Auction to raise money for Christmas gifts for needy families. This year, both WHVE and WAIN are participating in the event, which raised $11,000 in 2009. An online list, which will be updated as new items are added, will be included soon. Billy Rowe of the Jaycees said that contributions from local merchants and others are still being received. His thought, he said, is that the auction may raise a record amount. "There's certainly as big a need as we've ever faced." This story was posted on 2010-11-26 03:29:21
