She was member of the St. Mark United Methodist Church in Campbellsville, KY, a former telephone operator and a former employee of Southway Restaurant. Evelyn Cox , 78, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 1:25amET, Thursday, November 25, 2010, in Campbellsville, KY. Funeral services will be at 3:30pmET/2:30pmCT, Sunday, November 28, 2010, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Richard Lowe. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg RD, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmET/4pmCT, Saturday, November 27, 2010, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Matt Grant, Bill Hall, Bobby Hill, Ronnie Milby, Kenny Phillips, and George Wilson. Evelyn Powell Cox, Taylor Co., KY (1932-2010) Evelyn Cox was daughter of the late Ray Powell and Mary Opal Bryant Powell. She was born in Adair Co., KY, Tuesday, May 31, 1932. She died Thursday, November 25, 2010 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY at the age of 78 years, 5 months, and 25 days. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the St. Mark United Methodist Church. She was a former telephone operator and former employee of Southway Restaurant. She united in marriage to Billy Cox October 16, 1960. He preceded her in death January 31, 2001. She is survived by the following:
