Liberty, KY driver injured in KY 70 wreck

Driver loses control of vehicle, leaves road, and strikes a ditch

Casey Co., KY - Trooper Mike Woodrum is investigating a collision that occurred 11/24/10 at 7amCT, 14 miles East of Liberty on KY 70.

The collision occurred when a 1994 Volvo, operated by Angelo Blackwood, age 39, of Liberty, KY, was traveling Eastbound on KY 70. Blackwood lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and struck the ditch.



Blackwood was belted at the time of the collision and was transported to the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY, where he was treated and released.

Trooper Woodrum was assisted at the scene by Trooper Michael Moore, Southeast Casey County Fire Department and Casey County EMS.
