Overcorrection a factor in Horse Trailer wreck

Incident occurs on LBN Parkway just west of Columbia, KY

Adair Co., KY - Trooper Nick Davis is currently investigating a collision that occurred November 22, 2010, at 10:30amCT, 1 mile West of Columbia on the Louie B Nunn Parkway.

The collision occurred when a 2004 Chevy, operated by Don Reynolds, age 60, of Richmond, KY, was traveling westbound on the Louie B Nunn Parkway, pulling an empty horse trailer. Reynolds was attempting to overtake another vehicle when he dropped off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected and lost control of the vehicle.



Reynolds then entered the median and overturned. Reynolds was belted at the time of the collision and was transported to Westlake Regional Hospital by Adair County EMS due to minor injuries.

Trooper Davis was assisted at the scene by Adair County EMS and Trooper Kenny Perkins.
