Lewis Rubarts, Dunnville, KY, diedNovember 18, 2010 at the Liberty Care Center, Liberty, KY. .

Funeral service is 2pmET/1pmCT, Tuesday November 23, 2010, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY with Bro. Hershell Lawhorn officiating. Burial is in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be 6pm-9pmET/5pm-8pmCT, Monday November 22, 2010, at the funeral home.



Lewis Rubarts, Casey Co., KY (1935-2010)

He was born Thurs day, June 20, 1935 in Casey Co., KY. He was the son of the late Omer E. and Irene Rubarts. He died Thursday, November 18, 2010, in Lilberty, Casey Co., KY at the age of 75 years, 4 months, and 29 days.He was a farmer , worked for the Casey County Road Department and was a member of the Dunnville Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Coffman Rubarts of Dunnville, KY, and the following:
  • Three step daughters: Alice Slaughter of Cecilia, KY, Reanita Chester of Benton, KY and Marilyn McCauley of Lawrenceburg, KY

  • Two step-sons: Steven Preston of Rhode Island and Barry Lamb of Tennessee

  • Nine step-grandchildren

  • Four step-great-grandchildren

  • Brother: Herman Rubarts of Kenton, KY

  • And three sisters: Imogene Roberts of Somerset, KY; Shirley Pittman of Ohio, and Patsy Wesley of Louisville, KY
McKinney-Brown Funera Home is in charge of arrangements.
