Mr. Edward Wayne Morrison, Louisville, KY, departed this life on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at the Baptist Hospital East in Louisville, Kentucky. He was 69 years and 25 days of age.

The funeral services for Mr. Edward Wayne Morrison will be conducted at 10amCT, Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Greensburg Cemetery. Bro. Mike Akridge will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 4 to 9pmCT, Friday, November 19, 2010, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT Saturday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Clay Baker, Clint Baker, and Morris Milby.

Mr. Edward Wayne Morrison, Green Co. KY native (1941-2010)

Mr. Edward Wayne Morrison of Louisville, Kentucky, son of Alva Milby Morrison of Greensburg, Kentucky and the late Russell Morrison, was born on Saturday, October 23, 1941 in Green Co., KY, and departed this life on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 in Louisville, Jefferson Co. KY. He was 69 years and 25 days of age.

He was a retired employee for the General Electric Company.

He united in marriage to Patsy Bloyd on August 23, 1977 who survives.

Other survivors include the following:
  • A daughter and son in law: Kimberly and Ken Baker of Noblesville, IN

  • Two grandchildren: Clay Baker and Clinton Baker both of Indiana

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Morrison was also preceded in death by a son: Eddie Morrison; a brother, Russell Morrison; and a sister. Joan Morrison.

The Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.
