Obituary: Elmo Clark, 91, formerly of Adair Co., KY

He was a homebuilder, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Columbia, KY, and was a graduate of Reagan High School in Houston, TX.

Elmo Clark, Sr., age 91 years, of Brenham, TX, formerly of Columbia, KY passed away, Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at St. Joseph's Regional Health Center in Bryan, TX.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 11amCT, at Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty RD, Columbia, KY, with burial to follow. Rev. William R. Davenport will be the officiating clergy. There will be no visitation at the funeral home, Stotts-Phelps-McQueary in Columbia, KY



Elmo Clark,Sr., formerly of Adair Co., KY (1919-2010)

He was born Monday March 10, 1919 in Shepherd, San Jacinto, TX He was the son of the late Harvey Cornelius Clark, Sr. and Violet Sherman Clark, He died November 9, 2010, in Bryan, Brazos Co., TX, at the age of 91 years, 7 months, and 30 days.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rosa Johnson Clark on June 29, 2004Survived by the following:
  • Three sons: Elmo Clark Jr. and wife Karen of Conroe, TX, Foster Wooten and wifeMolly of Brenham, TX and Garland Wooten of Savannah, GA.

  • Twelve grandchildren

  • Numerous great grandchildren

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
Preceded in death by one son, Charles Clark, also three brothers and two sistersHe was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Columbia and was a home builder He was graduate of Reagan High School in Houston, TX.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangement.
