She was the matriarch of a large Campbellsville, KY, family. She leaves 47 direct living descendants. She was a member of the Broadway Church of Christ in Campbellsville, KY

Abby Perry, 96 of Campbellsville, KY died at 12:39 P.M., Wednesday, November 10, 2010 in Campbellsville.

The funeral services will be at 10amET/9amCT, Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville by Minister Jim Collins. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg RD, Campbellsville, KY.




Abby Perry, Taylor Co., KY (1914 - 2010)

Abby Perry, daughter of the late Kelse Blanton and Carrie Rice Blanton, was born Wednesday, June 3, 1914 in McGuffey, Hardin Co., Ohio. She died Wednesday, November 10, 2010 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY, at the age of 96 years, 5 months, and 7 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Broadway Church of Christ in Campbellsville, KY.

She united in marriage to Garland Jackson, who preceded her in death.

She united in marriage to John Perry, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by the following:
  • Four daughters: Jo An Humphress and husband, Jim and Dot Dickens and husband, Herb of Campbellsville, KY; Vivian Carson of Dallas, Texas and Chelsie Shuman and husband, Robert of New Philadelphia, OH

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • Twenty great-grandchildren

  • Ten great-great-grandchildren

  • And many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Patty Shuman and two great-granddaughters: Allison Dickens and Judy Shuman.

The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
