Driver injured in LBN single-vehicle accident Greg Thomas treated at Westlake Regional Hospital and airlifted to UofL Hospital By TFC William Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY Adair Co., KY - Trooper Bryan Shepard is investigating a collision that occurred Friday night, November 12, 2010, at approximately 11pmCT. Gregory S. Thomas, age 50, of Columbia, KY, was traveling East on the Louie B. Nunn/Cumberland Parkway operating a 2004 Cadillac. Thomas fell asleep, causing him to lose control of his vehicle and strike a road sign before coming to rest in the median. Thomas, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported by Adair County EMS to Westlake Regional Hospital and airlifted to UofL Hospital for treatment. Trooper Shepard was assisted at the scene by Trooper John Barnett and the Adair County EMS. The accident continues to be under investigation.
