Harold Rayborn was the patriarch of a large Casey Co. family. He leaves 27 direct living descendants and 7 living step-descendants. He was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church.

Harold Rayborn, 78, of Middleburg, KY, died Thursday November 11, 2010 at the Casey County Hospital, Liberty, KY. He was 78 years old.

Funeral services for Harold Rayborn will be 2pmET/1pmCT,. Sunday November 14, 2010, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY, by Bro. Kevin Pittman, Burial is in Calvary Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 6pm-9pmET/5pm-8pmCT, Saturday, November 13, 2010, at the funeral home.



Harold Rayborn, Casey Co., KY (1932-2010)

Harold Rayborn was born Wednesday, September 12, 1932 in Casey Co., KY. He was the son of the late Jasper and Ruth Durham Rayborn. He died Thursday, November 11, 2010, in Liberty, Casey Co., KY, at the age of 78 years, 1 month and 30 days.

He is the widower of Shirley Joyce Coleman Rayborn and a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include the following:
  • A special friend and caregiver: Imogene Durham of Liberty, KY

  • Five daughters: Wanda Propes of Frankfort, KY; Ann Lane of Liberty, KY; Brenda Rowland of Middleburg, KY; Jeanette Johns of Nicholasville, KY; and Rosie Reynolds of King Mountain, KY

  • Four sons: Dallas Rayborn of Stanford, KY; Todd Rayborn of Middleburg, KY; Junior Rayborn of Middleburg, KY; and Scottie Rayborn on Hustonville, KY

  • Twelve grandchildren

  • Six great-grandchildren

  • Seven step-grandchildren

  • A sister: Eva Tarter of Indiana

  • and Brother, Bobby Rayborn of Danville, KY
In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by a son, Glancy Rayborn; four brothers, Chester, Reid , Carl and Carlos Rayborn; and five sisters, Lorene Patterson, Barbara Rayborn, Sadie Haggard, Marie Rayborn and Lizzie Shea.

McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY, in charge of arrangements.
