She was born in Pulaski Co., KY, a member of a large, respected family with deep roots and many relatives and friends in Adair, Cumberland, and Russell Counties of Kentucky

Misti V. Kemp, Wesley ST, Jamestown, KY, died on East Hwy 90, Burkesville, KY, on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at 7:30pmCT.

Funeral services will be Sunday, November 14, 2010, at 2pmCT, at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main ST, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Jamie McMorcamc officiating. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Saturday, November 13, 2010, at the chapel. Burial will be in Jamestown Cemetery, N. Main ST, Burkesville, KY.



Misti V. Kemp, Russell Co., KY (1978-2010)

She was the daughter of Billy and Rita Kemp, Jamestown, KY, both of whom survive. She was born Monday, April 3, 1978, in Somerset, Pulaski Co., KY, and died Tuesday, November 9, 2010, in Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY, at the age of 32 years, 7 months, and 6 days.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her parents, Billy and Rita Kemp, Jamestown, KY

  • Her paternal grandmother: Ernestine Kemp, Columbia, KY

  • A son: Davonte Grayson, Jamestown, KY

  • Two daughters: Makhia Grayson and Kylie Wilburn, both of Jamestown, KY

  • Two brothers: Bo (Teresa) Kemp, Russell Springs, KY; and Shawn (Amanda) Kemp, Jamestown, KY

  • A special friend: Adam Wilburn, Burkesville, KY

  • A host of nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by one brother, John Paul Kemp.

H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main ST, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
