Wish List Committee sends thanks for 2010 Drive success

Once again, Adair County comes through. Ronald McDonald Houses of Kentucky Wish Lists were filled. Grade School Challenge winners are listed. List of challenge sponsors are below. Special thanks to LWC Bonner Leaders, Chamber of Commerce and A.C.T.I.O.N. Generation for sponsoring Wish List Drive.

By Ellen Zornes

WOW! Once again, our community has certainly come through! Your generosity has been wonderful! Whether cleaning products, wash cloths, towels, bleach, laundry detergent, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, lotions, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, batteries, office supplies, food items, diapers, bottles, baby clothes, pop tabs or even money ($400), the Ronald McDonald Houses of Kentucky Wish Lists were filled.

It was so inspiring to hear family members tell of their experiences with the Ronald McDonald House and how much the houses have and are still helping our families.

A huge Thank You to everyone, young and old, who helped sort the donations, load the trucks and divide the items, equally, between the Ronald McDonald Houses of Lexington and Louisville, to Lindsey Wilson College Bonner Leaders and, to the Chamber of Commerce and A.C.T.I.O.N. Generation for sponsoring the Wish List Drive.
