The Crescent Moon: Transitions are most beautiful of times

We should learn to appreciate the beauty of the times of transition in our lives as we do in nature. -Billy Joe Fudge
Comments on viewing: Scenic Adair Co KY Crescent moon November 7 2010

By Billy Joe Fudge

This is a most amazing photo. I love the "Thumbnail" moon but the colors and stark contrast titillates my memories and notions of autumn and it being a period of transition.

In nature we often see that periods of transition are the most beautiful of times. Dawn and dusk, and autumn and spring are perfect examples of the transitional beauty in nature.

We should learn to appreciate the beauty of the times of transition in our lives as we do in nature. If we could limit our lamentations and sing songs to celebrate the beauty of the times of change and transition in our lives rather than wrapping ourselves in dirges we would, I am sure, be better persons and a better people for it. -Billy Joe Fudge
