Lindsey Wilson nursing students ready for new building

Members of the first Lindsey Wilson College nursing class gathered Tuesday morning, November 2, 2010, on the steps of the college's L.R. McDonald Administration Building to display their program's new home, a 26,000-square-foot, two story building that will house the LWC nursing program and School of Professional Counseling.

The building will be located next to the college's Jim & Helen Lee Fugitte Science Center. It will be ready in time for the start of the 2011-12.

Site preparation is underway now. The cost of the project will be about $3 million.

Site preparation underway for new nursing school building

Site preparation is underway for construction of the new home of the Lindsey Wilson College School of Nursing next to the Fugitte Science Center, the building on the right. The construction area is already fenced off. The 26,000 square foot building will be ready for the 2011-2012 school year.
