Obituary: Ronnie Hatfield, 52, Adair Co., KY

He was a member of a respected Northeast Adair Co., KY, family and of the New Hope Separate Baptist Church. He was an employee of Cox Interior of Campbellsville, KY

Ronnie Hatfield age 52 years of Columbia, KY passed away suddenly Thursday October 28, 2010 at his home.

The funeral service will be Monday November 1, 2010 at 10amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. David Coffey the officiating clergy. Interment in the New Hope Cemetery, 131 New Hope Church RD, Columbia, KY. The family requests visiting after 2pmCT, on Sunday, October 31, 2010, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.



Ronnie Hatfield, Adair Co., KY (1958-2010)

He was born Saturday, January 25, 1958 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY. He was the son of the late Thomas and Helen Adams Hatfield of Adair Co. KY. He died Thursday, October 28, 2010, at his home in Columbia, Adair Co., KY, at the age of 52 years, 9 months, and 3 days. He is survived by the following:
  • One son: Jeff Hatfield and wife Tennille of Delta, PA

  • One daughter: Pamela Rice of Conowingo, MD

  • One brother: Paul Hatfield and wife: Shellie of Gravel Switch, KY

  • Two sisters: Ruby Holmes and husband Rollin of Columbia, KY; Wanda May and husband Tommy of Knifley, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Logan Hatfield, Aubrie Hatfield and Dakota Rice

  • Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends
He was preceded in death by a brother: Herman Hatfield and sister Dorothy Holmes.

Ronnie was a member of the New Hope Separate Baptist Church and a former employee of Cox Interior in Campbellsville, KY.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation toward funeral expenses and may be left at the funeral home.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
