About: Cycling: Columbia, KY, on Cleveland to Gulf bicycle shortcut

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

This message comes from Carmen Gambino's mom...one of the young men featured in your article.

I just got home from a trip out west (via car, not bicycle. Ha ha) and in checking my email was able to see your article.

I have been in contact with Carmen via cell phone since he left.

Could you possibly be so kind as to snail mail me a copy of the newspaper that containes your article for my keepsake purposes?

I would be most appreciative and can pay for whatever expenses are incurred.

Carmen is a great "kid"...thanks for your efforts!

Sincerely,

s/Gayle Gambino

Thanks, Gayle Gambino. A lot of us were wondering about the kids' reaching their goal. We'd appreciate any photos from the journey you might be able to send us, and hope you'll let us know when they have their shrimping jobs and when the Great Gambino and Clark Expedition discovers the West Coast of America. As for the print version of the article, it's only available by printing out a copy on home printers. Click to Printer Friendly Version of the Story. Please keep us updated. Columbia, KY, is a Cycling Town, home of Lindsey Wilson College, whose cycling teams have brought such fame to the community.
