95 years ago: A mostly true squirrel tale By "Jim Upon viewing the photo and related text concerning squirrels and buckeyes, the following article from the dusty pages of the Adair County News (September 8, 1915) came to mind. (Down deep inside, I have to wonder if the squirrel described below might have been a direct ancestor of the one that caused such an a ruckus and such an uproar and led to such a revival and so much repentance in the "First Self-Righteous Church in that sleepy little town of Pascagoula," Mississippi. Just sayin'...) A Vicious Pet[OK, I made up that last sentence, but the rest of the article is pure Gospel, as reported in the News95 years ago. We now return you to your regularly scheduled program, already in progress.--"Jim"] This story was posted on 2010-10-26 11:54:57
