The weekly honor is the first of the season for Fudge nationally and in the conference. It is also the first national weekly award for Lindsey Wilson in its first season of NAIA football. Fudge recorded a career-high 12 tackles and intercepted two passes to make himself a front runner for the honors. The Eaton, OH, freshman defensive back recorded 11 of his tackles in solo fashion to help the Blue Raiders to a 40-37 double overtime win at Kentucky Christian University. Fudge's second interception came on the first play of the first overtime period, helping the Blue Raiders seal the win in the second overtime. With the win Saturday, Lindsey Wilson improves to 3-5 overall and 2-1 in the MSC East Division. The Blue Raiders host West Virginia Tech at 1:30pmCT on Saturday, October 30, 2010, at Blue Raider Stadium, Lindsey Wilson Sports Park, 820 Hanley LN, Columbia, KY.
