Greg Dawkins will not run for President

Well, Here I am getting my ColumbiaMagazine "fix" for today, and I see that the residents are still talking about the Portillo's hot dogs.

That's totally awesome!

Considering that I still live here in the suburbs of Chicago, I have had the luxury of eating at Portillo's a few times this month already.
I do NOT want to run for president of the United States, but I certainly am flattered that some of the residents there believe that my push to someday acquire a Portillo's restaurant in the Columbia area could actually become a reality.
Please folks, I ask of you to forward all of this "talk" to the officials at portillos.com.
I have, and they tell me that they currently have no plans for any new restaurants at this time.

Certainly NOT due to economics, because the restaurants are always packed!

If they get enough requests, they may reconsider. DON'T GIVE UP!!!!

Anything is possible if you're persistent!!! If you guys are good... I'll tell you next week about Lou Lou Malnati's Pizza. (Also available by mail order). My wife Peggy and I will be there for Thanksgiving and maybe we will take some orders and bring them to Columbia for you!! Ha Ha.

P.S: To the person wondering why if the food is so good, why are we moving there? It's because we have found "paradise" in your little community that cannot be compared to ANY hot dog!!!! Thanks, -Greg Dawkins
